Tourism and Healthcare Sector

In boosting cooperative activities involved in this sector, a resolution has been formed which includes:

1.To loosen the terms and condition for cooperative to carry out tourism activities according to the terms of Tourism Management & Travel Business Agency License Agreement (TOTBAB) under the Tourism Industry Act (AIP) 1992.

2.Request to the Ministry of Tourism and Culture (MOTAC) loosen the terms for cooperatives to be able to carry out tourism activities without going through the establishment of subsidiaries;

3.Encourage partnerships or "smart partnership" between cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry to develop "agrotourism" among the cooperative that are involved with homestay activity;

4.Urges the government through the Ministry of Health in order to loosen the conditions for cooperatives that wants to take part in dialysis business by providing more licenses to cooperatives and simplified cooperative rules in the operation of dialysis centers;

5.Encourage cooperative that are involved with homestay to run health and personal care activities such as spa, cupping, body massage and others.

3.Creating a network of services and businesses for cooperative dialysis and the branding of Coopdialisis.

4.Creating a network of services and businesses for cooperative spa and the branding of Coopspa.

5.Development of School Cooperative Tourism (PKS) and the branding CoopISTAC
